Hello World 👋

I needed a different place, other than my blog, where I could collect documentation of what I (try to) develop.
Something that could easily group ideas together and provide users with a source that is always (I hope, I'll try, I promise!) up to date, from which they can learn how to best use the modules, scripts, and tools that I release via GitHub, most of which (almost all) are open source and free (even for commercial use, unless otherwise specified).

This is Nebula.KB, initially conceived and created to host documentation related to Nebula modules for PowerShell (you can find all the references in the sidebar, just below), immediately adapted to look to the future and the possibility of bringing other ideas unrelated to the main project here as well. It's only a matter of time, I have less and less of it and I'm trying to devote it to this "side project" (which isn't really that side), to the migration of content written in a "less than perfect" way in my virtual notebooks.
Be patient, I'll manage to publish everything, sooner or later!

At present, almost all Nebula modules documentation is available. The following will arrive later:

Why in English? 🌎

To try to break out of the usual pattern a little.
I have always written in Italian (and I still do it on my personal blog), but sometimes I have written in English, which has allowed me to reach a different audience, broadening my horizons and seeking to embrace the exchange of ideas and the improvement of existing ones thanks to the contribution of people outside the boot (as Italy is known).
For this reason, I have chosen to use English as the main language of the entire KB. It is easily translatable using online tools, and perhaps in the future I will consider localizing it into Italian, but currently it is not something that interests me.

Something missing? 🕵️‍♀️

If you encounter problems in the documentation or have suggestions on how to improve the documentation or the project in general, please report the issue.

Credits 🙏

I had no idea what Docusaurus was until I saw it in action, powering the PSAppDeployToolkit website, a framework that I use with great satisfaction and from which I drew much of the inspiration and basic code to set up this Knowledge Base.

Although this is a personal project, there is no denying that none of the Nebula modules would exist if I hadn't had the opportunity to work on them in the office. All the features were created because I needed them on a daily basis at work, interacting with Microsoft's cloud services. That's why I would like to publicly thank Emmelibri for their support and patience.

Last but certainly not least, OpenAI's contribution with ChatGPT and Codex. I stressed everything quite heavily to try to speed up the documentation writing process and to review some code, without ever losing sight of the goal and trying to avoid as many errors, hallucinations, and stupid mistakes as possible. Doing all this work alone, in my increasingly scarce free time, is truly unthinkable.
